Guest release

This is the agreement between you, the guest, and Jared Clark, who hosts and produces Human Agency in the Age of AI ("the show"). It is written to be read in a few minutes. If anything in it gives you pause, tell me before we record and we will talk about it.

1. Recording. You agree to be recorded, in audio and video, during our conversation. The tech check and small talk before we begin are not published.

2. Publishing. I may edit the recording and publish it as an episode of the show, in whole or in part, including short clips, a transcript and quotations, in any format and on any platform, now or later, as part of the show and to promote it.

3. Your name and likeness. I may use your name, voice, image, title, affiliation and the biography you send me, in connection with your episode and to promote the show. I will never use them to suggest that you endorse a product, a service or a company, including the show's sponsor.

4. No payment either way. You are not paid for appearing, and you pay nothing to appear.

5. The sponsor. The show is made possible by Evata Consulting Group, which is named once near the top of each episode. Evata pays for the show and does not pick the arguments: it does not choose guests, see questions, or edit what you say. Appearing on the show is not an endorsement of Evata.

6. You see it first. Before your episode is published, I will send you the edited version. You then have five business days to ask me to correct a factual error, or to remove something you said that you did not mean to make public, and I will make those changes. Other editing decisions stay with me. If I have not heard from you after five business days, I will go ahead and publish.

7. Your ideas stay yours. You keep every right you have in your own research, writing and ideas. You are welcome to share the published episode and its clips on your own channels, with a link back to the show.

8. Speaking for yourself. You are speaking in your own name. If you speak on behalf of an organization, you have its permission to do so, and you will not disclose anything you are bound to keep confidential.

9. Governing law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah.

How you agree. Reply to my booking email saying that you agree to Version 1 of the guest release, or say so at the start of the recording, when I will ask. I keep a copy of this version as it stood on the day you agreed.
